REEL ZOMBIES takes the found footage format, combines it with a behind the scenes making of documentary and comes up with something original and entertaining. I will say that at first I found the movie a tad slow and uninspired, but the more I watched and considered the theme the better it got.
Most real zombies are doomed to die — and some have very little control over their actions. One parasite causes infected rats to become attracted to the smell of cat pee. This helps the parasite because it needs a cat to eat the rat for its life cycle to continue.

Where Reel Zombies lacks in acting and focus, it sometimes makes up for in humor. The film is funny; the only problem is that it’s only funny sometimes. The jokes about continuity errors in “Zombie Night III” and the lack of care and passion from the crew, does make for a very funny, lackadaisical zombie comedy, but it can only carry the film so far.
